Why Kevin Love Will Not Win MVP

It is too bad that Kevin Love is the star of a losing team. Love is a player who is in the shadows of other players, yet his talent is quite obvious. When averaging 26.6 and 13.9 per, why was Love getting so little game time until now? If he did get more play time, it is ceratin that the Minnesota Timberwolves would win more games. If they won more games, then Love would have a shot at MVP. As it stands, while he deserves it, there is no way he could get it.

The Timberwolves are starting to appreciate Love's talents and rate him as one of the best upcoming players in the league, yet he is still over shadowed by players who do not have half the talent he has. True basketball fans know the sad truth is that Love is just not athletic enough to be looked at like a basket ball genius. To get the attention he deserves, he will have to gain a lot more muscle and continue to over achieve.

Kevin Love keeps his team going, without him the Timberwolves would not stand a chance. With his remarkable stats, he keeps an OK team going. That sounds like an MVP, does it not? These questions have fueled an argument that has been going on for years. Does the MVP have to come from one of the best teams? If one man can keep an OK team going, and have some of the best stats in the game, is he not an extremely valuable player? It is easy to be good on a great team, but being great on an OK team is much more challenging.
